One Tuesday Morning

At the Kipkaren training centre there is a cow dip. This is where local farmers bring their cows each week to keep away insects that could harm their herd. In the past, cattle herds where decimated by diseases carried by insects; having an active cow dip in the community is a huge blessing as it preserves the health of the cattle. ELI assisted the local community in revitalizing the cow dip and things have gone well for several years. It is completely run by locals and continues to bless the many families who rely upon their milk cows for daily income.

One Tuesday morning we woke up early to see the cow dip in action. It was one of the funniest things we ever saw. This video is proof. Some of those cows do the most magnificent belly flops. Watch the video carefully to the end....there's a surprise!

Talented Kids!

The orphans in the Kipkaren Children's Home bless so many through their great singing. We enjoy how they express their love for Christ as they sing and praise. This video was taken one Saturday afternoon when we attended the wedding celebration of some ELI friends.

We hit the ground running after our arrival back in PA on July 25th. Shared in PA and CA and more times of speaking ahead. So far we haven't had time to fully craft a newsletter but many of you have begged for some pictures....so here's a link where you can view a few images of our month in Kenya. Enjoy!
